RZG Construction is a multi-disciplinary civil company based in Mount Maunganui. We operate with a drainage and concrete division and work for local councils, Tier 1 contractors, and private companies in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Auckland regions.

We have a strong focus on infrastructure projects where we prefer complex drainage works with our sub-division works.

With strong forward projects confirmed, we require an additional Drainlayer to join our growing team.

Your role

• Based in the Bay of Plenty, where most of our works are in Mount Maunganui and Tauranga
• As a registered drainlayer or hold your Civil Trade Certificate (CTC), you will be involved in sub-division works installing 3 waters infrastructure
• Your experience in deep and large diameter pipeline of concrete or PE pipe, pump stations, sheet-piling and dewatering will be beneficial in our infrastructure works
• You will be able to read and understand drawings and specifications, including quality assurance, along with an understanding of contracts
• Able to work in a team where your planning of plant, labour, materials and subcontractors will be essential
• Able to manage works with project managers, engineers and inspectors.

As part of the complex works and working on Tier 1 projects, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment drug test.
