RZG Construction is a multi-disciplinary civil company based in Mount Maunganui. We operate with a drainage and concrete division and work for local councils, Tier 1 contractors, and private companies in the Bay of Plenty.

We have a strong focus on infrastructure projects, and we prefer complex drainage works and concrete works.

Your role

• Your experience in deep and large diameter pipeline of concrete or PE pipe, pump stations, sheet-piling, dewatering, concrete structures, reinforcing and earthworks will be beneficial.
• Quantity surveying, estimating and quoting project work, including preparing and finalising tender submissions
• Ongoing training and professional development
• Plan, manage and deliver civil construction projects
• Contract administration, reporting, project programming, resourcing, contract submittals, correspondence, and processing variations and time extensions
• Implementing and maintaining a high standard of health, safety, quality and environmental standards
• Communicate and engage with all levels including clients, stakeholders, project delivery team and subcontractors
• Financial management, budget management and reporting
• Provide technical engineering assistance to project and design teams

Qualifications, experience & position requirements

• Relevant degree/qualification in engineering and project management, minimum 3 years experience
